Our Microsoft licensing has recently changed. We are currently working on a more comprehensive guide, but this quick guide will help you get started with the web versions of Microsoft Office applications.
These web apps allow you to access Word, Excel, and PowerPoint directly from your browser.
Step 1: Go to the WCS Website
Open a web browser and go to:
wcskids.net
On the WCS website, select the Outlook button.
Step 2: Sign In to Microsoft
Log in using your school email address.
Follow any prompts that appear to complete the sign-in process.
Step 3: Open the Microsoft App Menu
Once Outlook opens, look in the top-right corner of the page.
Select the “Waffle” icon.
This icon looks like a small grid of dots and opens the Microsoft app menu.
Step 4: Select an Office Application
The app menu will show several Microsoft applications.
Common options include:
Word
Excel
PowerPoint
Select the application you would like to use.
Step 5: Create a New File
After opening the application, choose the type of file you want to create.
For Word, select Create Blank Document.
For Excel, select Create Blank Workbook.
For PowerPoint, select Create Blank Presentation.
