Installing and Using ImageMate+C with New ELMOs
ImageMate+C is the updated version of ImageMate that must be used with the new ELMO document cameras. If you prefer, the default Windows Camera app can also be used.
⚠️ Important: Before starting, make sure your laptop is not connected to the docking station.
Steps:
Step 1: Open File Explorer
In the bottom left-hand corner of your screen, select "Type Here To Search".
Type file and select File Explorer from the results.
Step 2: Navigate to This PC
In the left-hand pane, select This PC.
Step 3: Open the Apps Drive
Navigate to the Apps (F:) drive.
Step 4: Go to Teacher Software Folder
Open the folder named ##NewLaptop##Teachers.
Step 5: Run the Installer
Double-click the file named ImageMate C.bat.
Step 6: Launch ImageMate+C
This will create an ImageMate+C icon on your desktop.
Double-click the icon to open the program.
Step 7: Reconnect to the Docking Station
Plug your laptop back into the docking station.
The ELMO camera should now appear in the bottom right as “MX-P3.”
If it doesn’t appear, close and reopen ImageMate+C.
